Felt me better . . .

This little fellow
used to live in a vine in our garden....
That is, until our dog found him,
dragged him down and shook him near to death.

He needs an overhaul before he returns to the big wide world. It's time to felt him another hat,
a new face and new hair. So it's back to my fibre stash
to see what I can find . . .

hey, i just had a thought that i would message you here as i have lost your number. Have you heard of Art in the Olives. It runs annually through the Scenic Rim Regional Council. Last year i was asked i was interested in doing a felt workshop, perhaps this might still be open this year. If you are interested give them a ring, perhaps Bronwyn might be able to help, i am not sure exactly of her department. happy wet weekend :)

What is felting?

"FELT" The Essential Macquarie Dictionary meaning:

"A non woven fabric of wool, fur or hair matted together by pressure"

Fibres can be manipulated with the use of soap, water, friction and heat variations ..........or the use of barbed needles to create many interesting, practical and wearable things.
