New Year Wishes ...

Yet another year has begun and ....

My wish for the world
is that it be
a better, safer, happier place
sprinkled with love and care

My wish is that crazy, cruel, frantic events
occur with such rare frequency
that children's memories will not be scarred,
the elderly will not be afraid
and the innocent will be protected.

I'm dreaming you say ?
... everything begins with a dream

Thank You
to all who visit this blog
and Best Wishes for
A Safe and Peaceful New Year !

Hi Haylie,
So glad you're enjoying felting!
I can imagine a little pair of pixie boots on your little fairy!

Hi Tiffane, your felted creations are so lovely. Cute little mouse. And the frog in the mason jar is brilliant! Another blog friend just started felting so I am going to direct her to your blog for inspiration. Take care and have a great week. Best wishes, Tammy

Tammy just sent me over and I am in awe of your creations. I just started needle felting (last week) and it has humbled me, so I know how difficult it is to create your amazing sculptures.
Hugs,
Meredith

Thanks for dropping by Tammy and Meredith! It won't belong before I start a project for my daughter - reconstructing her beloved woollen jumpers from when she was a babe, knitted by her Grandma. No doubt, since I'm a scary knitter (I do try!) I'll be in need of direction and ideas for crocheting them together (they've been in my think tank for a while now)and I'll be stopping by YOUR blogs for inspiration! : )

What is felting?

"FELT" The Essential Macquarie Dictionary meaning:

"A non woven fabric of wool, fur or hair matted together by pressure"

Fibres can be manipulated with the use of soap, water, friction and heat variations ..........or the use of barbed needles to create many interesting, practical and wearable things.
